Our journey with the bees

Welcome to Wicked Bee's, where our passion for beekeeping stems from our farming heritage in Ferndown, UK. Join us as we share our love for these incredible creatures, craft unique bee-related products, and inspire a deeper understanding of their vital role in our enviroment!

From farm to hive: our story

Wicked Bee's began as a natural extension of our farming life with alpacas and sheep, a desire to diversify and connect with nature in a new way. What started with just a couple of hives quickly blossomed into a profound journey of learning and expansion. Ian and Vicky find immense joy in the hands-on care of our bees, while Chrissy's expertise ensures our hives produce a wonderful array of products for you to enjoy. We're more than just beekeepers; we're a family dedicated to sustainable practices and the well-being of our buzzing friends.

Beyond the honey jar: our unique approach

At Wicked Bee's, we believe in immersive hands on experiences and accessible education. We stand apart by focusing on small group interactions, allowing for a truly personal connection with the world of bees. Whether it's through our engaging stalls at public events, our hands-on experience days, or our informative educational talks, our goal is to demystify beekeeping and highlight the crucial role bees play in our ecosystem. We're committed to sharing our knowledge and passion with everyone we meet.

Buzzing with the community

Our mission is to connect with everyone – from eager families and passionate nature lovers to curious schoolchildren and local community groups. We actively engage with outside businesses, maintaining hives at a local care home and regularly visiting to share updates and insights. Education is at the heart of what we do, and we're excited to expand our outreach by working with schools and local organisations, fostering a deeper appreciation for bees across Ferndown and beyond.

This morning we can definitely say it was the bees knees. A big thank you to Ian and Vicky from Wicked bee's for delivering such a wonderful talk on winterising bees in their hives
